For two years now, France terre d’asile has regularly published Opinion pieces on Europe and asylum. In reaction to what we believe to be less of a refugee crisis and more of a reception crisis ; to point out EU member states’ temptation to outsource their responsibility in terms of reception to third-countries – starting with Turkey ; to defend asylum law in Europe and solidarity among states who want to protect it.
Today, we think that advocating for asylum law should be done from a more European perspective.
This is the ambition of “European Insights” – an online magazine, available in both English and French to all our European partners.
